Suzhou metro line 2 began in Dec. 2009. Total construction period: 4.5 years. Trial operation opens to traffic on June 2014. It is North-South Backbone Line of Suzhou Rail Transit Net after No. 1 Line. Full length: 26.557km. It sets 22 stations. Total project investment is as high as 14.5 billion RMB. It surpasses Suzhou No.1 Rail Transit Line and becomes the largest investment of urban construction project in Suzhou city.
